Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre season kicks off June 7

Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre’s sixth season opens June 7 with William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.

.” The professional theater company will offer more than 25 performances of the four productions throughout the month of June. The season lineup includes Shakepeare’s ”Twelfth Night,” “The Tempest,” and “Richard III,” and the musical “Big River,” with music by Roger Miller.
Shows will be performed at three locations this year–Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas, at The Village at Hendrix at Hendrix College in Conway, and at Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts in Little Rock.
Actors have come from all over the country to perform in these productions, alongside the best and brightest talent in Arkansas.
Outdoor performances at The Village at Hendrix are “pay-what-you-can.” Spectators are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and dinner.
