Top British Awards for “Fatherly”

“Fatherly” won three awards at the International Student Drama Festival (ISDF) in England.
The play received ISDF’s best awards for direction, acting (the group) and set designing, according to Iran Theater website.
“Fatherly” is written by Arash Abbasi and is directed by Amir Bashiri, the Public Relations Office of Khorasan Razavi Artistic Center said.
Ten national and ten international plays were participated at the International Student Drama Festival.
“Fatherly” had three performances in three days of the festival and received warm welcome by audience.
The successful participation of the play from Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province is a source of the pride for the residents of the province.
Over 200 educational workshops on direction, writing, acting and set designing and criticism sessions took place during ISDF.
“Fatherly” was previously participated in international theater festivals in Russia and Romani.
It received awards at the 7th Nationwide Month Theater Festival, 20th Provincial Theater Festival, 15th Quran Theater Festival and 14th International Student Theater Festival.
The play attracted enthusiasm from citizens of Mashhad in its performances about two years ago.
“Fatherly” tells the story of a young man that has difficulties and thinks source of all of his problems is his family, especially his father.
It is a story about foundations of family, played by Sajjad Entezari, Majid Bakhsheshian, Amir Bashiri, Mahboobeh Soltani and Neda Asadi.
