31st Fadjr Int’l Theater Fest to Increase Financial Assistance
International section of the Fadjr International Theater Festival is one of the most important sections of the festival, which help attract many audiences to the auditoriums.
The headquarters of the festival organizes the section each year to pave the ground for cultural interaction between domestic and foreign groups, present a role model for young artists and create a venue for competition and evaluation of Iranian and foreign artists, according to Iran Theater website.
The festival will also pay maximum 200m rials to the final line-ups of the festival as financial assistance and upon decision of the festival’s selection board.
Directors of foreign festivals and professors have so far attended the festival each year and the 31st festival will also follow the procedure.
Meanwhile, noted international groups held workshops in Tehran and other provinces last year and the same will happen in the 31st festival.
The 31st Fadjr International Theater Festival will be held in Tehran and 10 provinces in January and February 2013. Saeed Kashen-Fallah is the secretary of the festival.
