Milad Nikabadi to Make Joint Play in Belarus
Milad Nikabadi is invited by Alexander Alexandrovich, head of Belarus’s International Theater Festival “Belaya Vezha” (White Tower)to have a joint production with Belarusian artists.
Nikabadi and his group are currently in Belarus to perform Bitter Like the Blood in the Veins of Yerma, Iran Theater website reported.
Alexandrovich invited Nikabadi to have a five-day educational workshop in Brest and had a joint production with actors from Belarus, Iran, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.
Farzaneh Soheili, Amineh Mazrouei, Behrooz Kazemi, Mohammad Alavi and Hanieh Najafi from Iran are playing in the joint drama with a five-hour per day rehearsal.
Nikabadi is handling the stage and costume design of the joint drama while two Belarusian percussionists play its music.
The 10-minute joint drama would be performed in the closing ceremony of the festival in which artists and officials will attend.
The festival will close on September 15.
