Koushk-Jalali to Stage Two Plays Soon

Alireza Koushk-Jalali will stage two plays in the City Theater Complex since September 23. The German-based Koushk-Jalali directs “The Path of Women” and “God of Carnage”.

Koushk-Jalali told Iran Theater website the construction and installation of set were currently underway in the complex and rehearsals were being conducted in Plato No. I.
Written by Friedrich Schiller, Koushk-Jalali is translator, dramaturge and director of “The Path of Women”. The play will be performed in main auditorium of the City Theater Complex every day except for Saturdays at 20:30 from September 22 to November 20.
The crew includes set designer: Siamak Ehsaei, music: Bamdad Afshar, Mostafa Kamran-Jam and Ali Anvari, assistant director and planner: Vahid Mehdizadeh, plan executer and producer: Noroddin Haydari-Maher.
Mohsen Husseini, Melodi Aramnia, Ali Abdali, Iman Esfahani, Sara Afshar, Sara Bahrami, Erfan Pahlavan, Toumaj Danesh-Behzadi, Misagh Zare’, Houman Soltani, Ahlam Salmani, Fatemeh Saremi, Mina Karimi Jebeli, Zara Molaei and Mohammad Valizadegan play in the drama.
Meanwhile, “God of Carnage”, a play written by Yasmina Reza, is other drama to be staged by Koushk-Jalali in main auditorium of the City Theater Complex every day except for Saturdays at 18:30 from September 22 to November 20.
The crew includes set designer: Manouchehr Shoja’, assistant director and planner: Noroddin Haydari-Maher, plan executer and producer: Vahid Mehdizadeh.
 Sima Tirandaz, Ashkan Khatibi, Ladan Mostofi and Reza Molaei play in the drama.
Koushk-Jalali has so far directed “Postman Neruda”, “Nora”, “The God of Carnage”, “Monsieur Ibrahim and the Flowers of Koran”.
