In Mamet’s Show, F Marks the Spot
It premiered at Houston's Alley Theatre on August 24, 2012. Billed as a comedy, November centers on President Charles Smith (Lane) several days before his second election.
The end of the line for an unpopular president is the inauguration for hilarity when Mamet (Glengarry Glen Ross, American Buffalo, Race) makes the Oval Office a three-ring circus of political incorrectness. President Charles Smith is desperate to be be re-elected. And he’s not afraid to beg, bargain or sacrifice the remains of his integrity.
