Saadat Hasan Manto festival in Delhi next week
The short stories of acclaimed Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto are set to come alive although a series of performances, film screenings, readings and lectures at Amdebkar University, Delhi (AUD), next week.
Governor announces Manto Museum : Governor Sardar Latif Khosa has announced that in order to pay tribute to Saadat Hassan Manto, the literary giant of Urdu, the federal government will establish Manto Museum at the Laxmi Mansion, Regal Chowk, The Mall.
Manto’s statue to be unveiled at NBF : The first-ever statue in South Asia of renowned writer Saadat Hasan Manto will soon be unveiled at National Book Foundation. The statue is made by fibreglass and unique in style as it is made in sitting posture by renowned sculptor Aftab Ahmed Changezi.
