Great Interest Towards “ Leave of Absence for a few days” in Katmandu International Theatre Festival

“Leave of Absence for a Few Days’play of “Shamayel” group written by Raouf Dashti and directed by Seyyed Hojjat Tabatabayie has received a warm welcome after two performances in Nepal’s capital, Katmandu.

According to news received by Iran theatre website from Culture and Islamic Guidance office in Khorasan Razavi, the play has attracted the interest of many directors and authorities of art affairs of various countries so much so that it had been invited to perform in Norway, India and Bangladesh.   

 “Leave of Absence for a Few Days” is an adaptation from “Sea Lady” of Henrik Ibsen  that gets to the personal and social lives of women society.
Cast and crew are: Sahra Ramezanian, Hamed Amanpour, Arash Tabrizi, Sahar Rezvani, Nooshin Nowroz Zadeh and Nazanin Tafazoli  actors, Seyyed Hodjat Tabatabayi set designer, Mojtaba Kimiyayie Deputy director, Nooshin Nowrooz zadeh International affairs, Amin Afzali decorations, Jalal Saberi GGraphic designer, Somayeh Orghabayi makeup, Mahboubeh Soltani costume designer, Hesam Sattouti music, Mehdi Paktinat photography, Elham Reyisyan public relations, Mehran Nezakati  stage manager, Mostafa Mohammadzadeh executive manager and Mohsen Heydari logistics.
It should be noted that this year the International Nepal theatre festival has been executed on Nov.25-Dec. 07 in Katmandu. France, UK, Bangladesh, Norway, Estonia, India, USA, Nepal and Iran have participated.
