McCarter Theatre Center stages Edward Albee's 'A Delicate Balance'

The play opens officially on January 18 and will run through Feb. 17 at the Berlind Theatre of Princeton’s McCarter Theatre Center in a production directed by Emily Mann, who is now in her 23rd season as McCarter’s artistic director. In this production, Kathleen Chalfant portrays Agnes, and John Glover plays Tobias.
Director Mann, who directed Albee’s “All Over” at McCarter and the world premiere of Albee’s “Me, Myself, and I,” which went from McCarter to Playwrights Horizons in New York, is now in her 23rd season as McCarter’s artistic director.
A Delicate Balance is a play by Edward Albee that premiered in 1966 and won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1967, the first of three he received for his work.
