Five Iranian performances in HIGH FEST theatre festival

Five Iranian plays will participate in 11th HIGH FEST theatre festival in Armenia. “HIGH FEST is one of the most prestigious theatrical events in Armenia. This year, Iranian theatre group and 37 other theatrical groups will take part in this festival.” Albert bigdjanian, Iranian director and a member of the executive board of the event said in an interview with Iran Theatre.
“ ‘empty footprints’ and ‘I love God’, directed by Amin Salari, ‘suddenly, those eyes’, directed by Amir Asani, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, directed by Nasir Maleki-Jou and ‘For You Bastard’ directed by Melody Aram-Niya, are Iranian plays that participated in theatrical section of the HIGH FEST festival.” He added.
Referring to the mask exhibition at the event, he said a workshop by Atefe Ja’fari and Somayye Farahani, to be held during the event.
Bigdjanian went on to say that the festival will open with the performance staged by “1927” British theater and will end by a performance from Italy.
Theater groups from 18 states, including Russia, Argentina, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, UK, Italy, will participate in the festival. The 11th international theater festival HIGH FEST 2013 take places on October 1-12.
