Bring Him Home! Colm Wilkinson to Join Ramin Karimloo For Benefit Performance of Toronto’s Les Miz

Colm Wilkinson will join Ramin Karimloo in a special benefit performance of 'Les Miz.'

Les Miserables legend Colm Wilkinson is returning to the show that made him a star—but this time, he’s leaving the high A to Ramin Karimloo! Current Les Miz star Karimloo, who stars as Jean Valjean, confirmed on Twitter that for one night only Tony nominee Wilkinson will join the Toronto cast of Les Miserables as the Bishop. The performance on January 11, 2014 will benefit five charity organizations yet to be announced.
Wilkinson won’t have to do too much rehearsing for his stint as the Bishop—he also played the role in the 2012 film opposite Hugh Jackman. Wilkinson has played Jean Valjean in the West End, Toronto and on Broadway. Karimloo, who has led the Toronto production since September 22, will make his Broadway debut in the newest revival of Les Miz, beginning March 1, 2014, at the Imperial Theatre.
