Korean theatrical group's one month performance in Iran

In their meeting, Iran's dramatic arts Center's director general, Hossein Taheri, and South Korean ambassador to Iran, Sung Wung Yeub, discussed the expansion of bilateral cultural ties between the two countries.
According to Iran Theatre, Hossein Taheri, Iran's dramatic arts Center's director general, referring to South Korean theatrical groups' success at The 32th International Fadjr Theatre Festival, expressed hope that adoption of new political approach after Iran's presidential elections would lead to the expansion of bilateral cultural relations and investment in cultural fields between Iran and other countries. Meanwhile, taking into consideration the Close, age-old cultural relations between the two Asian countries, gives this bilateral relations a priority, Taheri added.
Taheri went on to say that cultural exchange, including performance of Korean theatrical works in Iran, would help the two nations to know each other better. Saying that South Korean theatrical groups would have long term performances in Iran, Taheri added that Korean theatrical groups like 'Nanta' could perform in other Iranian cities too.
Referring to the creation of new horizons in the cultural exchanges between the two nations, he added that the ambassadors are the countries' strategic managers and expressed hope that the meeting would lead to boost bilateral relations in other fields like economy and industry.
Sung Wung Yeub, South Korean ambassador to Iran, in his part, referring to the deeply rooted ties between the two nations, said that he is delighted by witnessing that the Korean performance being well received by Iranians. He called for the continuation and the boost of these friendly ties.
Emphasizing on the need for expansion of bilateral cultural exchanges, South Korean ambassador added that cultural collaboration, forms the basis for diplomacy and is on the agenda of the South Korean government. Sung Wung Yeub went on to say that he hops the two governments do their best to use the common cultural grounds between the two nations to boost cultural and economic cooperation.
