Iranian "Khourtab" to participate in Tajikistan's 'Chador-e Khiyal Festival'

"Khourtab", an Iranian traditional puppetry, from the northern city of Lahidjan would participate in 'Chador-e Khiyal Festival', in Tajikistan.
According to Iran Theatre, the festival has officially opened on 15th of April and is to be held through 25th of April. "Khourtab" by Mohammad-Ali Sadiqhasani is one of the two Iranian art works, participated in this art event. "Khourtab" is directed by Mohammad-Ali Sadiqhasani and the cast includes Ali Bidavisi, Amir Rajabpour, Manouchehr Amiri, Emad Sammak, Armin Hokmi, Mahmoud Farzinejad, Fatemeh Aliparast, Farzaneh Hossein-nejad and Simin Ghaffari.
The art work follows the ancient local rituals performed as a traditional ceremony during and after eclipse, in some parts of northern Iranian province of Gilan. "Khourtab" has been performed at several art events, among them are Fadjr and Marivan festivals.
