General Director of Iran's Dramatic Arts Center met with dispatched artists to "Ordibehesht Theatre" celebration in provinces
In a meeting between Hossein Taheri, general director of Iran's Dramatic Arts Center, and Iranian artists who are to be dispatched to other provinces to attend the "Ordibehesht Theatre" celebration, the poster of the cultural event unveiled.
According to Iran Theatre Persian website, Iranian artists who are to attend the "Ordibehesht Theatre" celebration in Iran's provinces, in a meeting on 19th of April, in Vahdat Hall at Tehran, discussed their views about the current situation of Iran's theatre with Hossein Taheri, director general of Iran's Dramatic Arts Center. They also talked about their motions for promotion of 6th "Ordibehesht Theatre" celebration in provinces.
Acknowledging the support of theatre experts and artists and expressing his thank for their companionship, Hossein Taheri hopped for the success of "Ordibehesht Theatre" celebration.
"Masters and artists who accompanied the Dramatic Arts Center through holding this cultural event during past 5 years, ensured liaison between the center and the theatre of provinces. This would help us to know better the human resources and existing potentials of provinces in the field of dramatic arts." He added.
Meanwhile, Hassan Ravandeh, Dramatic Arts Center's coordinator of provinces affairs, presented a brief history of past 5 years of the cultural event and hoped for another firm cooperation between dispatched artists and provincial theatre artists and officials, for this year as well.
The importance of education in theatre, decentralization, public performances, exchang of performing groups between Tehran and other provinces and the necessity of organizing short and long term workshops were among the issues discussed during the meeting.
