“Payam Dehkordi” appointed as secretary 0f 21th Hamadan International Children Theatre Festival

General Director of Iran’s Dramatic Arts, appointed “Payam Dehkordi” as secretary 0f 21th Hamadan International Children Theatre Festival.
According to Iran Theatre website, the order is as follows:
“Dear brother, Mr. Dehkordi,
Children are made by honesty, adolescents by emotion and joy; they are synonymous with life and deserve the best.
Hence, with regard to your expertise, competencies and valuable experience in the field of drama, you are appointed as “secretary 0f 21th Hamadan International Children Theatre Festival.”
We hope that relying on your great experiences, you will be able to benefit from capabilities, expertise and partnership of those who work at the field of children theatre, and through this, be witness to the fruitful holding of the great event in our theater.”
It should be noted that Dehkordi holds a Master's degree in theater from Tehran University. In Dehkordi’s repertoire is foundation of Hope Festival. He has won the best actor award at the 22th International Fadjr Theatre Festival. The best actor award at the International Theatre Day (2004), nomination for the best actor award at the 21th International Fadjr Theatre Festival, nomination for the best actor award at International Ritual-Traditional Drama Festival (2003) and the best actor of the year, chosen by Theatre House and National Critiques Center (2007) are in his repertoire too.
Dehkordi has directed several plays on the stage, among them are “gomgashte (The Lost)” by Mohammad-Reza Sheykholeslami, “Vahshi (The Wild Honey)” by Anton Chekhov, “barefoot in the park” by Neil Simon. He has performed in dramas like “Krapp's Last Tape” by Samuel Beckett and directed by Ali Julayi, “Afsune Ma’bade Sukhte (The Charm Of The Burnt Temple)” by Naghme Samini and directed by Kiumarth Moradi, “Kargadan (The Bald Soprano) by Eugène Ionesco and directed by Hamid Samandarian, “Bazres (The Inspector General)” by Nikolai Gogol and directed by Ali-Reza Kushk-e-Jalali, “Bahr-ol-Gharaeb” by Mohammad Charmshir adaptation from Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” and directed by Atila Pesiani, “Mibusamat Va Ashk(I kiss You And Tear)” by Mohammad Charmshir and directed by Mohammad A’aghebati, “Marg-e Forushande (Death Of a Salesman)” by Arthur Miller and directed by Nader Borhani. Dehkordi has big screen experience too. He has played in different films, among them are “Yek Tekke Nan (A Piece Of Bread)” directed by Kamal Tabrizi, “Yek Bus-e Kuchulu (A Little Kiss) directed by Bahman Farmanara, “Bi Khodahafezi (Without Saying Goodbye) directed by Ahmad Amini, “Jib Bor-e Khiyaban-e Jonubi (The Pickpocket of Southern Street)” directed by Siyavash Asa’di. He has also played in TV series like “Bagh-e Blur (Crystal Garden)” directed by Rambod Javan, “Shahriyar” directed by Kamal Tabrizi, “Medar-e Sefr Daradj-e” directed by Hassan Fathi and “Houshe Siyah (Dark Intelligense)” directed by Mas’ub Abparvar.
