Parisa Moqtadi appointed as the director of “City Theater”

Iran Theatre reports that Moqtadi, who was born in Shirāz in the year 1970, is in fact one of the most renowned actors as well as the directors of theater in Iran. Parisa Moqtadi completed her graduation in ‘urban planning’ from Shirāz University. She completed her post graduation in “theater direction” from the university of Art and architecture and completed a one year course in ‘film production’ from young film society of Iran. She also completed a one year course in acting from the department of culture and Islamic guidance in Fārs province.
She had earlier served as the director of planning and coordination and the deputy executive of “City Theater” for a period of four years and has even held the post of director of “Sang-e-Laj” theater.
Among the various positions held by Moqtadi until now are: The directorship of “Sarv” cultural complex (women section) and the position of head of the “dramatic society” of the cultural complex, Cultural directorship of the arts theater, being among the founding members of young and children association of theater at “theater house”, directorship of “City Theater” during the years 2010-2011.
At the present moment, the play titled “Entr’acte without Entr’acte” with Moqtadi’s direction is playing at “Sāyeh” theater and another play titled “a hot egg’s tango” under the direction of Hādi Marzban and with the acting by Moqtadi is being displayed at Vahdat complex.
