21st International Theater Festival for Children & Youth in Hamedan
The 21st International Theatre Festival of Children and Youth is to be held in September in October 2014 in Hamedan in Iran.
The Dramatic Arts Center of Iran will hold the 21st International Theatre Festival of Children and Youth under “Identity, Today, Tomorrow” banner. The main themes of the festival are the place of creative art in rising children and the effect of technology on children’s life.
Stage works dealing with themes such as Islamic and Iranian culture, local traditions, Islamic moral education, importance of family and sacrifice have more chance of being selected in the festival.
The international section of the festival is of non-competitive nature; however, one stage production will be selected and praised by the audience at the end of the festival. International works produced by Iranian cooperation are also eligible.
Exchanging experience and technology is of at most important and festival prefers works which are co-production of Iran and other countries.
We highly appreciate it if you could send us the new productions of your Theater Company. The application should reach Secretariat of the Festival by the specific deadline 31 of July, 2014.
Up to the end of August, the Selection Committee will announce the invited international guest Performances through international affairs office of Dramatic Arts Center.

1) A synopsis of the play in English
2) The Director and Playwright’ s CV
3) The number of the troupe (including actors, technicians, etc)
4) DVD of the performance
5) Duration of the play
6) Photos of the performance
7) Telephone & cell phone number, email address
