Dolls became peace & happiness messengers in the world/puppet theatre festival kick off with happiness carnival

Iran theatre- the carnival started from in front of the doll house in  Palestine street toward the City Theatre Complex. In addition of artists in this carnival there were many of active people in this artistic field with their families. Small and big dolls who were in the hands of artists and children were magnificent. Colorful balloons, happiness and enthusiasm of participants, song of music,… made an energetic atmosphere in this carnival and all the streets between house of dolls and city theatre.
by arriving this carnival to city theatre complex the 15^th Tehran International Puppet Theatre Festival-Mobarak has been started officially with several short speeches.

In the beginning of the ceremony, Marziyeh Boroumand, director of this edition of the festival said that she wishes to see Iranian people always happy and continued: “dolls came to the festival from Iran and other countries to be in our celebration. I hope the world find a happy way to no children never see cruelty or be killed.”

In following the celebration, Fatemeh Motamed Aria, Iranian cinema and TV actress said she is so happy because of seeing children and parents’ happiness and said: “I hope we do not limit this day only for chidren but count it as a sign for achieving peace, calmness, love and kindness to each other.”

Mahtab Keramati, the famous Iranian actress and representative of UN pointed that presence of dolls causes to neighborhood of hearts and said: “kindness will close the hearts to each other and make happiness to give life the color and scent.”

In continuing, Hussein Taheri, general manager of Iran Dramatic Center welcome participants and said: “I hope a day come that all the children of the world live in happiness and the shadow of war not be on their head and have no sorrow.

At the end of this ceremony, color balloons were flied by the present artists in the sky of city theatre and 15^th Tehran International Puppet Theatre Festival-Mobarak has been started its activity for a week.

15^th Tehran International Puppet Theatre Festival-Mobarak will be held in 14-21 September in 11 theatre halls and yards of City Theatre Complex, Milad Tower and Niavaran Park in Tehran.
