Closing ceremony of 15th Mobarak international puppet theatre

Closing ceremony of 15th Mobarak international puppet theatre was held last night in Vahdat theatre Hall.

According to Iran theatre, Ali Jannati, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance emphasized on the festivals achievements and stated," I'm so glad that this year we hosted our great artists alongside with stylist artist from various countries regarding our proposed cultural diplomacy and this relation certainly will bring us remarkable results."

"Thanks to art and culture, puppet theatre can be an ambassador for Iran in around the world so a serious attempt is required to help this type of theatre plays its proper role in the world and presents a peaceful, transparent and elegant Image of Iran." Jannati added.

Minister's Deputy of Art, Ali Moradkhani, also stated, "Humanitarian approach of this festival especially to Gaza crisis was a significant event. Besides This year with inviting non-Iranian theatre groups, we are on the first stage of being an international festival and I hope with further this trend."

Hossein Taheri, general director of performing arts also explained within a message, "We hope mass media have benefited from this event to improve puppet theatre and cinema in Iran."

Secretary of 15th Mobarak International puppet theatre, Marzieh Brumand, also appreciated all organizations, artists and officials who helped her for holding this festival and stated, "thanks god for helping meduring this time and I hope everybody enjoyed this event. Cooperation of different artistic organizations for holding the festival in its best is a remarkable feature of this event."

At the end, all of the performing groups were tributed by the festival statue and appreciation plate since the festival was a non-competitive one. All of the performing groups' head gave speech after receiving their statue and appreciation plate.
