Basing Children and Young Adults Theatre Museum Is Started/Mansour Khalaj: We Collect Memorials of 100 Years Old

Iran Theatre- Mansour Kahalj, as one of members of new foundation of Children and Theatre explained: “As you know museum is a permanent institute without financial goals which its door is open to all and its activity is for society and its development. Museums’ goals are research in works and records which remained from human being, compiling works, keeping and spiritual profiting also communicating between works, especially showing them in order to consider and spiritual profiting.”

He emphasized on this point that art has no border continued: “Theatre is not limited to any geography or border and every activity can be an effective event to introduce our look and present our dramatic pattern. Basing the museum cab be cause of keeping Children and Theatre memorials to be kept generation to generation.”

Khalaj said: “Houses like Hans Christian Anderson in Denmark, or keeping all things related to William Shakespeare in England, or Moulier in France are all worthy memorials that are being kept for many years. We should do this in Iran too.”

The researcher continued: “basing Children and Theatre Museum is one of things that the foundation is eager to do and main programs of it were compiled until now. The museum has software and hardware sections which has all thing related to Children and Theatre during last 100 years like published plays, books, posters, films, masks, clothes and setting which are remained from some of plays, and…showing them to all.”

He noted that finding a good place for museum is very important thing and said: “We have had suggestions from some provinces like Kerman but Tehran is our ideal primary place because of being capital and cultural management of Iran is based there. However, we are considering this issue.”

Mansour Khalaj emphasized that basing the museum asks a very serious determination and explained:” In basing and forming the museums we need cooperation of many organizations like municipally, Dramatic Arts Center, Canon of Mental Development of Children and Young adults and… . Basing the museum ask serous determination. Many people and organizations have good records like, Canon of Mental Development of Children and Young Adults or this issue that we have had children theatre since Baghchebaan until now. In some years some events happened in different cities, we want to collect these samples. In fact, we can say that this museum is all memorials of these 100 years that need to be kept and nothing was done to maintain of them.”
