Ninth Marivan International Outdoor Theatre Festival Warmly Started
Ninth Marivan International Outdoor Theatre Festival was started on Saturday October 18th with rally of artists' carnivals from Sarbaz square to the new park Shano.
Iran Theatre- In this ceremony whkch was started with welcoming people and presence of managers, Hossein Taheri, Genera, Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center who feeling pleased by public welcome said:" I feel surprised by seeing art-loving people of Marivan in this opening ceremony. Art of theatre is live through its audiences. Other arts can be active without their audience but theatre is dependant to its audience. "
In continuing, Fateh Baadparva, Executive Manager of the festival explained with giving some information:" In this edition of the festival 522 works in free section and 46 work in ritual section were sent to the secratriat and among them, 32 works in free section and 5 sorks in ritual one. Also 3 plays are present in international section. In Guest section, one play from Conquere of Khoramshahr Festival and one children and young adult theatre will be present.
In another part of this ceremony, Souran Hosseini, member of Marivan Islamic Council and head of outdoor theatre section, in his short speech pointed to opening of Shano park and said:" Marivan Islamic Council with paying 55 million Tomans for buiding Shano park has take important steps in company of municipaly in order to develop outdoor theatre. This is the first time that something like this happened in the world and a place was built especially for theatre. This is sign of importance of theatre for people of this city and province. I hope this festival be a pattern for other provinces too."
In ending of this ceremony, anniversary cake of ninth Marivan outdoor theatre was cut by Hossein Taheri, general manager of Iran dramatic arts center, Hojjat-al Islam Jafati general manager of Kyrdistan Guidance kffuce, Mamoosta Fayegh Rostami, Friday Imam of Marivan, Mohammad Fallahi, commander of Marivan and representatives of international groups.
Ninth Marivan International Outdoor Theatre Festival will be held in 18th to 22th October 2014 in Marivan city by directing Hojjat-al Islam Rahim Jafari. Marivan city is a border city in Iran Kurdistan near to Iraq borders.
