Arian Rezayi :Protest Is Specialty of Outdoor Theatre

Iran Theatre- Arian Rezayi who participated in 9th Marivan International Outdoor Theatre Festival with "Relationship" pointed to the council theatre style of this work and said:" In this festival we used mono-council style, it means monolog by struggle which is one of the seven techniques of council

He noted that in  Iran  we do not have outdoor theatre in its real meaning and explained :" Unfortunately, its title is put on every theatre which is performed  in outdoor that is a mistake."

Director of "Relationship" theatre added:"ciuncil theatre is one of the  envirenment plays that was based and started by Ali Zafar Ghahremaninezhad  and  his students. Now, its around eight years that this genre of theatre is changed to a big network and mono-council theatre is a part of council theatre. "

Rezayi emphasized on providing proper conditions for performing  council theatre and said:" If we have proper conditions, this genre of theatre can be performed in every pkace because it is a public one and about their concerns. This play has interaction with its audience. The main aim of general theatre  is producing knowlege and interpretation of the world but council theatre asks to change the exist situation. "

.This director talked about the subject of the play which is performed in Marivan festival and said:" In this play the main subject is about marital relationships.

 We chose this subject based on public concerns. I told you before that in council theatre  which is based on dialogue people encourage to  have dialogues. At first we have one actor but in continue with participating of people  number of actors is increased. Therefore, the audience trues to participate in dialogues and correct  relationships. It is back to style and subject both. "

9th Marivan International Outdoor Theatre Festival is hold from 18 to 23rd of October.
