Afshin Hashemi: All the World Keep Alive Their Classical Dramatic Forms Like Taziye

Iran Theatre- Afshin Hashemi who directed this play  talked about this text and said:" This play is a rewriting of an old taziye named "majlis of Imam Hossein " written by Mohammad Ali Raja Zafrei that I wtote it five years ago and now its supposed to performed as play-reading in complex of events' nights .

Afshin Hashemi added aboutvthe text:"  Dialogues are something like Taziye's poems but order of verses is not exactly like that and sometimes we used new poem form in it. In performance aldo I use facilitues that Taziye gives me like traditional songd and colors of dressses. While the play is not a Taziye but good people sing and  group of opposites sing something in opposition to it."

Hashemi pointed to importande and value of  artistic ckasssical fkrm abd said:"  In entire world artists keep alive these kibds if dramatic classic arts like Taziye and perform it even educate new generation for it. "

Taziye is kind of poetic religious dramathat is about stories of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)'s family during history especially Karbala that in it, Imam Hossein and 72  of his fellows also all of his family have been martyred by army of Ojar Sa'ad. This is an Iranian ancient art which its history back to 1000 years ago and improved during Safavid (1501-1722).

Play-reading of  "Majlis of martyrdom of strong man that sky worships him" is performed in complex of events' nights City Complex. Events' Nights that is held during Moharram days by Iran Dramatic Center beside 9 majlis of taziye, five dramatic groups.  

 "Majlis of martyrdom of strong man that sky worships him" is being performed on November 3rd and 4th in City Tgeatre Complex at 6 p.m.
