General Manager of Dramatic Arts Center Visited A Veteran Sick Artist

Hossein Taheri, General Manager of Dramatic Arts Center visited Morteza Ahmadi, the veteran Iranian cinema, theatre, and TV and asked him to perform a theatre after he got better in Sangelaj Theatre Hall.

Iran Theatre- Morteza Ahmadi who got 90 years old on November 1st is hospitalized in his house because of his elderly and some pulmonary problems, so, Hossein Taheri visited him in company of numbers of managers of Dramatic Arts General Office.

In this visiting, Morteza Ahmadi recalled some of memories of his youth also some of his wishes which were not reached out. This veteran artist who has had many researches on culture, art and literature of Tehran publicity also published audio albums and books emphasized on this issue that he still have two books who very likes to write them. He said that one of them is about old proverbs of Tehran and another one is about sentences that people themselves made them and then promoted. Performing a theatre is another wish of this Iranian veteran cinema, theatre and TV artist.

In continuing this visiting, Hossein Taheri counted his activities so valuable for all the family of veteran cinema, theatre and TV and asked him to perform a theatre after he got better in Sangelaj Theatre Hall because he never had a performance there before.

Morteza Ahmadi who has started his artistic activities since 70 years ago with singing social-critical songs before performance plays in Tehran old theatre halls, then he started acting on stage, in radio, cinema and TV and did many researches about Tehranian people’s culture.
