Actress of Linda: “Death of Salesman” Talks about A Common Pain Among All Countries

Actress of “Linda” role in “Death of Salesman” emphasized that the text talks about a common pain among all societies.

Iran Theatre- Nasim Adabi, Actress of “Linda” role in “Death of Salesman” believes that if people welcomed the performance of this text of Arthur Miller directed by Nader Borhani Marand in City Theatre Complex is because the text talks about a common pain among all countries.

“While Arthur Miller wrote the text for the modern American society of that time but it seems that it narrates the today conditions of Iran. Therefore, it is welcomed in Tehran by theatre fans.” The actress explained.

. “When the role was suggested to me I had a little fear and stress because Linda character was many years older than me and I didn’t want to act a middle aged woman and bore audience.” Adabi talked about role of Linda

She pointed to this issue that the director was not agreeing with type acting continued: “Hopefully Nader Borhani Marand leaded actors on the stage very well. The director was opposite of type acting of role Linda and Willy Lowman also sound-making and he emphasized on this issue that an actor must make an act in his inside at first.”
