Representative of Region Council of Asia-Pacific Theatre Will Devolve to Iran

Iran Theatre- Through ITI Universal Congress, the emergency meeting of Region Council of Asia-Pacific under supervision of Sun Shin was held.

In this meeting it is determined that due to span of Asia, each region of this continent be devolved to one of the members.

This decision was voted and Iran became candidate of being representative. After speech and defense of Hossein Taheri, General Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center the result of voting was informed: “Managing of Central and Northern Asia was devolved to Iran, part of South and Western South to Bangladesh and the other part of South and Eastern South to Philippine.”

This approval was informed to central council and it was determined to approve and be informed by the council.

Another part of this congress was allocated to introducing ITI acceptable universal festivals. Suggestion of members to create an authentic universal festival which all the member countries has more colorful role in it was one of the discussions.

34th ITI Universal Congress was held in Yerevan.
