Siamak Safari Talked about Audience Welcomed “A Man for All Seasons”

Siamak Safari believes that “A Man for All Seasons” is interesting for Iranian audience because of different reasons like the text is famous, the cast are famous and the subject is attractive also the performing style is good.
Iran Theatre- Siamak Safari who plays these days in “A Man for All Seasons” directed by Bahman farman Ara, acts the role of an ordinary man in Vahdat Hall.
Siamak Safari said about his role in the play: “An ordinary man in the play is different from others. All the other roles are all great men like king, cardinal or vice-president while common people are completely from another class”
The famous actor talked about role of common man and playing in the play and said: “Because of fundamental difference between this character and others, playing in this role was different for me too. The voice and literature he has, dress he wears and his words are all different.”
Safari said that the play attracted many people who hadn’t come to theatre for many years and added: “There were some audiences who haven’t come to theatre during last 35 years but after hearing the name of A Man for All Seasons” and the cast they reconciled with theatre.”
He said: “The play has been mostly welcomed during last nights. A part of this welcome is its famous text of “A Man for All Seasons” and the good movie of Fred Zinneman that many of Iranians watched it in TV and another part back to name of celebrities who play in the play especially Reza Kianian and Bahman Farman Ara.”
“A Man for All Seasons” written by Robert Bolt and directed by Bahman Farman Ara will be performed until December 26th in Vahdat Hall.
