Different Opinion of Martyr Keshvari’s Son to War in A Play

Iran Theatre- Ali Keshvari son of Martyr Pilot Ahmad Keshvari watched play “Nightmare of Azar Midnight” in Sayeh hall of City Theatre Complex.

The scholar of theatre and cinema who emphasized on having different look to war and its effect said: “Most of artists have chosen two different ways in portraying war and holy defense. They consider problem in comic way or sacred one. Some of artists try to break the sacred atmosphere with emphasize on comic dimension of it and in contrary some other show martyrs as people who are unavailable and very sacred; while they were normal people with normal lives.”

“Martyrs of Iran-Iraq war decided in some crucial moments of their lives which caused keeping compatriots. These moments make them recognizable people. Their decision in moments that many of people were frightening was so important and had colorful effect on their lives and the other ones’ too. We didn’t have balanced look to these problems. Maybe two cliché ways are welcomed by public but they are caused of neglecting other subjects.” He added.

The theatre director answered this question that how much his neighborhood with martyrs’ families was effective in his look said: “I walked in a way that I’ve been familiar with it. If I talked about Martyr Keshvari, I don’t just focus in his war dimension but I consider some problems which were less talked about. I have to say that the play is not exactly related to Martyr Keshvari but is about conditions and situation if martyrs and their families; families who are still struggling with war and its effects.”

Bahram Ebrahimi, Pouya Amini, Elham Jafarnezhad, and Jalil Farjad are actors of “Nightmare of Azar Midnight”.

Major-General Martyr Ahmad Keshvari, born in 1953 in Kia Kola of Mazandaran province was one of the pilots of Havanirouz Iran army who became martyr on December 4^th 1980 in aerial attack with an Iraqi Mig and his chopper fell and he martyred.
