The 1st Meeting of Iranian Theatre Evaluation and Supervision Central Council Was Held

The 1st meeting of Iranian theatre evaluation and supervision central council was held with presence of Art Deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister, strategy holders and theatre managers, also representatives of Iran Control Organization in the office of General Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center.

Iran Theatre- In the beginning of the meeting, Mehdi Shafiee, General Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center thanked all the present people who accepted to be in the council and said: “Supervising rules in theatre has distinguished this art from other ones and made profit which can act like guard for it but it seems that it is essential to evaluate theatre in the council too.”

He pointed to evaluation and supervision style in Iran and the manifest of Supreme Council of Cultural Revolutionary and said: “The manifest must be corrected because of majority of dramatic activities and it seems that it is essential to have more serious look to evaluation and maintenance of theatre artists’ products.”

Ali Moradkhani, the Art Deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister assured that forming the Iranian Theatre Evaluation and Supervision Central Council is an auspicious work and said: “With forming the council we push theatre to a better way for being better in performance and content and more exact supervision.”

He emphasized on this issue that all the approvals of the council must cover all the theatre activities and dramatic types and added: “Beside the council a committee must be formed and the halls’ managers as people who ask license for a performance be faced with feedback of the works.”

 “Now, the artist connects hismsel to the body of the government. It must be a rule that the artist doesn’t need to mingle himself in the process of art producing. If the process be considered in an especial organization also our duties be less.” He added.

The Art Deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister pointed to growth of theatre welcoming and increasing the audience and emphasized that it must having more attention to the theatre for children and young adults.

He hoped that the council presents its opinion about theatre until May and issues about the manifest, commissions and teamwork and thought room be considered. He emphasized: “Experience has shown that everywhere that it is about logic, people companied with it.”

 “Reza Dadouyi, Manager of Theatre Evaluation and Supervision Office pointed to defects of the rules and said: “we prepared a corrections on the manifest of Evaluation and Supervision of Supreme council of cultural revolutionary that I hope to be finished until the beginning days of New Year.”

He talked about wavers in the Theatre Evaluation and Supervision manifest and assured: “One of the problems which we couldn’t achieve to its real situation is evaluation. Presence of 5 to 7 people for Iran theatre Evaluation and Supervision make it impossible. Only for the theatre festivals more than 2500 licenses were given. The static raises the error rate, however the mistake had been two or three times during last year.”

The Meeting of Iranian Theatre Evaluation and Supervision Central Council including Dr. Saeed Keshan Fallah, Dr. Rahmat Amini, Dr. Behdarvand, Dr. Vafadari, Alireza Darya Baygi, Shahram Karami, Hossein Msafer Astaneh, with presence of Ali Moradkhani, the Art Deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister, Mehdi Shafiee, General Manager of Iran Dramatic Arts Center, Payman Shariati, the executive deputy of Iran Dramatic Arts Center, Reza Dadouyi, Manager of Supervision and Evaluation, Naeemayi, Taymouri, Cultural and artistic warden of Iran general audit organization, and Neda Entezami, Manager of public relations of Art Deputy of Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister was held on March 10th in the office of Iran Dramatic Arts Center.
