To Compete in Int’l Puppet Show Festival

27 Plays Chosen

27 plays will take part in the Tehran International Puppet Show Festival (Mobarak).

The jury members of the Tehran International Puppet Show Festival, Maryam Saadat, Zahra Sabri and Yousef Seddigh, chose the 27 plays that could attend the festival.

The 27 plays are chosen from 37 applicants, according to irantheater.ir.

The plays include;

“Painful Story of the Old man” by Ali Etesamifar from Qazvin

“Canary Yellow” by Morteza Asadimaram from Kermanshah

“The City Within the Carpet” by Ebrahimzadeh and Bahmadi from Mashhad

“The Tale of the Hungry Wolf” by Hadi Eftekharizadeh from Maragheh

“Goychak” by Mohammad-Taghi Esmaili from Ardebil

“Vizvisi & Ghirmizi” by Ali Barnoun from Tabriz

“Flight 7:45” by Marjan Porgholamhossein from Tehran

“21” by Bahador Maleki from Tehran

The 16th Tehran International Puppet Show Festival (Mobarak) will take place from August 22 to August 28. Marzieh Boroumand is the secretary of the festival.
