“Razavi Theater”, an Opportunity for Sublimation of Theater to Spread Religious Culture

Making the art alive and the artists immortal can be possible with the elixir of theology and self-consciousness. Today’s artist will achieve salvation through the miracle of mysticism and love rather than essence and existence. It is a blessing which leads to illumination and expression of imagination for an artist rather than his retreat and isolation.

Excellence of the identity of religious theater has been one of the priorities of the Dramatic Art Center. We have resorted to Imam Reza (AS) to achieve the target by Razavi Theater Festival. We have never doubted the path thanks to the blessings of God and efforts of the artists. We believe theater will become more accountable if it is attached to a religious identity.

Razavi Theater Festival is a unique chance for theater to exhibit its sublime face, spreading the culture of Razavi and religious knowledge.

We thank God with our soul and heart that this valuable event is taking place in Khorasan, which is home to the holy shrine of the Imam Reza and has a reputation as land of the art. I express gratitude to the organizers of the festival, especially the esteemed artists of theater groups, Bojnourd citizens and my colleagues in the North Khorasan Culture and Islamic Guidance Department and the Dramatic Art Center. I wish the sublimation and promotion of religious theater will be the outcome of this festival.

The 11^th Razavi Theater Festival will open tomorrow in North Khorasan province. The five-day event will wrap up on August 10. Mahmoud Azizi is the secretary of the festival.
