Iran Wish a World Singing Peace Song Continuously

Theater has been able to serve as common language of mankind, putting on display the agonies and greetings of these people. Today’s world needs more than ever again an elixir which heals pains of the human as the man is attacked by anxieties and upheavals. Theater is that elixir! It is an elixir, which is not bound to language, race, color and border rather it has an honest concern for the man to live in peace.

I am happy the Gdańsk Shakespeare Festival in Poland has given this common-language opportunity to Iran’s theater artists. A land (Iran), which along with its noble nation, had experienced war in the past but has remained powerful.

Iran wish a world, which sings the song of peace continuously. We also welcome more theater cooperation to take lessons from each other in this path.

Theater has the potential to make the two nations closer. We take this opportunity as good omen.
