Gharibpour Will Stage Saadi Puppet Opera in Tehran Festival

Mr Gharibpour has so far performed puppet operas of “Rostam & Sohrab”, “Hafiz”, “Mowlana”, “Ashura”, “Macbeth” and “Leili & Majnoun” with Aaran Group. He will take part in the festival with “Saadi”, irantheater.ir reported.

Mr Ghribpour had staged this opera publicly last year. Ferdowsi Theater will host the opera on August 22-28 during the festival. Mohammad Motamedi will sing in the role of Saadi, the great Iranian poet, in the puppet show.

Tehran-Mobarak 16th International Puppet Festival will be held on August 22-28. Marzieh Boroumand is the secretary.
