Inauguration with Puppet Carnival
Tehran-Mobarak 16th Puppet Festival will inaugurate with a puppet carnival like previous editions.
The news center of the festival invited the residents of Tehran to attend the Tehran-Mobarak 16th Puppet Festival with their dolls and puppets.
The festival will open on August 22 and the participants will take part in the inauguration carnival with their puppets. Also, the artists of puppetry will attend the ceremony with their puppets. The giant and thumbnail puppets will be a part of the ceremony.
Families are invited to take their children to the puppet carnival with their puppets and dolls, which is set to be held in an area between Tehran’s Vahdat Hall and the City Theater. The ceremony will start at 17:30 near Vahdat Hall.
Ehsan Tarokh, a member of “Golak” music group, will play music in the ceremony. Saman Khalilian is the executive manager of the carnival, which is to be held with the cooperation of Tehran Municipality’s District 11.
The festival will take place in the capital Tehran on August 22-28. Marzieh Boroumand is its secretary.
