7th Edition of Muktadhara Bi-Annual Festival
India has announced the 7th edition of Muktadhara - the bi-annual Forum Theatre Festival, which will be held on December 5-20 at Badu, Kolkata.
The festival is hosted by Jana Sanskriti Centre for Theatre of the Oppressed since 2004. The festival will be an opportunity for the artists and performers to meet Jana Sanskriti, especially the women who work behind the stage or on the stage as actress and theater activists. Each one of them belongs to a layer of the society. The festival is in fact the theater of the oppressed who reflect the truth either on stage or in real life.
