To Commemorate 100 Anniversary of Iran Theater of Children & Young Adults
Essay Writing Competition Announced
The 23rd International Children and Young Adults Theater Festival will hold a competition of essay writing to commemorate the 100 anniversary of Iran children and young adults theater.
The announcement for the competition has invited essays, which deal with the theme of the festival "The Show of Compassion on the Set of Childhood". The essays must be research-based, focusing on the history of children theater in Iran, irantheater.ir reported.
Educational essays are not admitted. The secretariat of the festival will admit the full essays and there is no need for the artists and researchers to submit an abstract. The researchers and those interested can send essays on 39 subjects.
The deadline for submission is October 23 and the top three essays will be introduced in the closing ceremony of the festival. The awards include cash and an honorary diploma. The top essays will be published in a book.
The festival will held a gathering in Tehran to award the essays with the researchers, artists and university professors in attendance. The time and place of the ceremony will be announced later. The essays must be sent in pdf or word format with a CV of writer and contact numbers to theaterkoodak100@gmail.com.
