Marivan 11th International Street Theater Festival
Final Participants Announced

The Marivan 11th International Street Theater Festival has finalized the review of the submitted works, announcing 23 pieces to take part in the event.
The Public Relations Office of the Dramatic Arts Center announced 271 pieces had been submitted to the secretariat of the festival of which 17 was chosen for the competition, five for traditional/ritual section and one as a guest show, irantheater.ir reported.
Maryam Motaref, Mohammad-Reza Alvand, Afshin Khorshid-Bakhtari, Obeid Rostami and Mehdi Moradi have been the jury member of the festival.
The rules of the event secure a right to exclude any show, which has participated in any other national festival.
The admitted shows include;
“The Story of the People”, written and directed by Payam Azizi from Tehran
“The Complicated Narration of a Pickaxing”, written and directed by Mahsa Afkhami from Tafresh
“A Job Seeker”, co-written and co-directed by Mokhtar Mohammadi and Kajal Rastbin from Marivan
“Harvey Darsetan”, written and directed by Souran Hosseini from Marivan
“Redemption at Doggy Hour…” , written and directed by Korosh Ahmadi from Sanandaj
“The Silence of Colors”, written and directed by Mohammad-Amin Kohnehpoushi from Marivan
“Crispy Potatoes”, written and directed by Harvey Rezaei from Saghez
“Who Killed I?”, written and directed by Mohammad-Reza Agah from Songhor Koliyaei
“The Conflict of Masks”, co-written by Aziz Zadsar, Nemeh Saeedi and directed by Aziz Zadsar from Marivan
“Mr Worrisome”, written and directed by Fereydoun Ahmadi from Sanandaj
“Petros’s Shabihkhani”, written and directed by Saeed Kheirollahi from Dehloran
“Deport”, written and directed by Parham Akhlaghi from Sari
“Unaired Documentary of Mirza”, co-written by Ahmad Samimi and Homa Parisan and directed by Ahmad Samimi from Tehran
“Virus without Borders”, written and directed by Hiva Asadbeigi from Saghez
“War, No”, written and directed by Ali Omrani from Varamin
“No Way Out in the Last Game”, written and directed by Omid Mostafaei from Boukan
“We Are all Alright”, written and directed by Kayvan Miraki from Sanandaj, will be as guest show.
The admitted pieces of ritual/traditional section include;
“I Exist”, written and directed by Mohammad Karimi from Torbate Jam
“Bosalameh”, written and directed by Abolfazl Tabasi from Sabzevar
“Baz Bazak”, written and directed by Ali Ghazi from Masjed Soleiman
“D-Zangou”, co-written by Hiam Ahmadi and Faramarz Gholamian and directed by Hiam Ahmadi from Abadan
