“Movie House” Aims to Give an Insight into World Theater

“Movie House” of Baran Theater is aimed at watching and analyzing pieces of the world leading director, irantheater.ir reported. The “Movie House” hosted Kiumars Moradi as moderator to discuss about “Divine Comedy” by Romeo Castellucci with Asghar Dashti, Milad Nikabadi and Asha Sadr as the event was welcomed enthusiastically.  

Mr Moradi said that a proper academic approach toward the world theater was one of his biggest concerns, which made him to collect movies of the world leading pieces or when he faced the world noted groups. “I have collected this valuable treasure painstakingly. We can watch them and reach the conclusion why these performances have been so influential now. It is important for me to reach this knowledge.”   

Then, “Divine Comedy” by Romeo Castellucci was aired and the session to discuss about the piece by Asghar Dashti, Milad Nikabadi, Asha Sadr and Kiumars Moradi opened.  

Asghar Dashti praised the move by Baran Theater as creative and said that such sessions, if held constantly, could help improve approach toward the world theater in a correct academic way.

The program is aimed at evaluating the world’s best pieces of the past 15 years, which is held every two weeks on Saturdays in Baran Theater. Those interested could buy the ticket and time table from Baran Theater. Each program is coupled with a criticism session afterwards.
