Ardeshir Salehpour to Judge Russia’s Int’l Fest
Dr Ardeshir Salehpour, author, university professor and researcher, is a member of jury of the Theater “U Mosta’s” the Second International Festival of Martin McDonagh.
Theater “U Mosta” in Perm, Russia will hold the festival from October 1 to 7 to hold the international festival of the Irish playwright Martin McDonagh to become a center of attraction of modern dramatic art lovers, irantheater.ir reported.
Groups from Poland, Scotland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Russia, Azerbaijan Republic, Montenegro, Northern Ireland and Canada are taking part in the festival.
Considered as one of the greatest modern playwrights, Martin McDonagh is compared to Chekhov and Ostrovsky. His plays are staged in different countries including Russia.
The festival will award theater ensembles in best actress, best actor, best supporting actress, best supporting actor, best director, best set design, best festival performance, best ensemble and best sound design categories. They will be chosen by the jury.
