City Theater Announces:
Several Pieces Over, New Shows Coming

The pieces, which were performing in the City Theater, has ended the performance on the occasion of the Ashura, the day the third Shia Imam Hussein (AS) martyred in Karbala, Iraq.
Concurrent with the last day of performance of "Sina, Sina, Abbas", the family of Commander Abbasali Alizadeh, who was martyred defending the holy shrine in Syria, released his will and a message of Brigadier General Ghasem Soleimani on his martyrdom, irantheater.ir reported.
The family of commander Alizadeh released the will on Friday on the last day of "Sina, Sina, Abbas", which is produced by Hamid Nili and is directed by Alireza Mehran.
Part of the will reads, "Now that I am writing my will, I am heading for the war front. I did not know where I was going but I knew that I would reach the shrine of bibi Zaynab (AS) and Roqiyeh (AS) (sister and daughter of Imam Hussein (AS. My God is witnessing that I left behind my dearest people and all the things in this world. My hand is empty now and this is my world. Please accept me, God!
I believe this is my last journey and my end and my wish will be fulfilled. Of course, my wish is martyrdom and defending the shrine and pledging allegiance to Zaynab (AS). I am ashamed that I have only my blood to sacrifice for the values of the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khamenei and my country's martyrs…"
Commander Soleimani send a message to commemorate martyr Abbasali Alizadeh, praying for him to rest in heaven.
"Sina, Sina, Abbas", which was on stage until Friday, was sponsored by Association of Revolution and Sacred Defense Theater.
"Season of Bitter Orange Blossom", which is directed by Gholamreza Aravi, also finished performance on Friday.
"The Commander" by Nader Borhani-Marand and "Revise Your Image of Me" by Arvand Dashtaray, will start performance again after the mourning period.
Meanwhile, "The World's Last Pomegranate", which is directed by Ebrahim Poshtekouhi, will start performance on next Sundat. The Freeway Group, headed by Hamid Moradveisi and Baqer Soroush, will stage "Mrs Tapancheh" from October 21. Shahabeddin Hosseinpour is the director of the piece, which will be performed in the City Theater's Charsou auditorium.
