Diector to Irantheater:

"Eclipse", a Ta'zieh Treatment Theater

Shaghayegh Fathi and Abolfazl Hajalikhani will stage "Eclipse" in Sangelaj Theater since next Sunday, which is an avant garde piece, focusing on Ta'zieh.

"Eclipse", which is written by Abolfzal Hajialikhani and co-directed by Shaghayegh Fathi and Abolfazl Hajalikhani, will be performed in Sangelaj Theater since October 17, irantheater.ir reported.

Abolfzal Hajialikhani, writer, director and actor of "Eclipse' said that the piece was read once in the past and Alireza Ostadi had also performed it once in the Third City Theater Festival.

Hajalikhani added that the piece was subjected to many changes because he was co-directing it with Shaghayegh Fathi. "Her ideas and views have changed the piece a lot and made the play to be more dynamic, moving to an avant garde world and distancing from traditional ambience."

"Given the idea and plan which are injected into the play by Shaghayegh Fathi, "Eclipse" has become a theater rather than a religious piece," the director said. "The design of Fathi is taking the piece into three time after the death of Heshmat, his mind during the coma and Ta'zieh treatment."

He added that the rehearsal had begun a month ago and the show was in its final stage, which is coordination between the music and the executive team."
