City Theater to Host “Mourning Month”
Ashura rituals and Ta’zieh passion plays – “Mourning Month” - will start in the venue of the City Complex since Monday.
The renowned artists will perform these mourning pieces, which is held with the cooperation of District 11 of Tehran Municipality, Dramatic Arts Center and the City Complex. The Ashura rituals will also host various pieces and rites on Friday to mourn the martyrdom of the third Shiite Imam Hussein (AS).
Yousef Shahhosseini from Tafresh will perform the first program, which will start after the evening Friday prayers.
Also, Ahmad Azizi will head a Ta’zieh play on Hazrat-e Moslem in the second section of the first day of Ashura rituals to be held in the outdoor vicinity of the City Complex.
