People welcomed warmly the opening of special performances such as Ta'zieh and Ashura rituals to mourn the martyrdom of the third Shiite Imam Hussein (AS) last night in the outdoor venue of the City Theater in Tehran.
The outdoor venue of the City Theater in Tehran hosted artists, theater officials, managers of the District 11 of Tehran Municipality to watch the Ashura rituals by artists from Tafresh, headed by Yousef Shahhosseini and Ta'zieh play on Hazrat-e Moslem, headed by Ahmad Azizi, irantheater.ir reported.
Mehdi Shafiei, director of the Dramatic Arts Center, Korush Zarei, director of Dramatic Arts Center of the Islamic Propagation Organization, Seyyed Abbas Tabatabei, deputy mayor of District 11 of Tehran Municipality for socio/cultural affairs and Dr Mohammad-Hossein Naserbakht and … watched the rituals.
Also. Hadi Lashgari headed a group performing Ashura rituals and Ahmad Azizi, headed a Ta'zieh play on Hazrat-e Abolfazl, today.
Tomorrow, Hadi Lashgari will head a group to perform Ashura rituals and Alaeddin Qasemi will head a Ta'zieh play on Hazrat-e Ali Akbar.
Ashurian Dialameh Group, headed by Mahmoud Farzinejad from Siahkal, Alaeddin Qasemi will head a Ta'zieh passion play, will have performances on Thursday.
The performances on Friday will be headed by Mahmoud Farzinejad and Alaeddin Qasemi, respectively.
The performances will be hold every day until Friday at 6:30 pm.
