Regional Gathering
Theater Directors of 12 Countries in Tehran
Dramatic art director of 12 countries from west Asia will attend a gathering to be held in Tehran for the first time.
The three-day gathering will host directors of Oman, Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Azerbaijan Republic, Georgia, Syria, Russia and Qatar, irantheater.ir reported.
Ten out of 20 directors are from Iran's neighboring countries and west Asia, and two from North Africa.
A meeting with deputy culture minister for art affairs, director of Dramatic Arts Center and other theater officials as well as an introduction of Iran theater bodies are among the agenda of the gathering.
The regional gathering will take place in the capital from October 30 to November 1.
