She tells about her difference acting in the piece.
You stared in more pieces last year. Don’t you have good proposal for works?
Yes. I starred or directed three pieces “It’s Valentine Day” by Manijeh Mohamedi, “Pinnocia” and “Two World’s Inn” last year. It was a busy year.
“Two World’s Inn” had no public performance and it just had two performances in the Fadjr International Theater Festival.
The director was young. I had tried to gain experience by staring in the piece but I was not generally satisfied with the performance. I had several suggestions for work this year but I had been pickier in my choices and rejected some work proposals. I am pickier in theater compared to cinema and television. It is more important and serious for me. I have tried to star in pieces, which bring me good reputation and credit. I accepted the suggestion for this pieces because of my veteran colleague Siavash Tahmores. I have starred in a piece by Siavash Tahmores when I was a teenager. The working relationship continues to this day…I am aware working with Sivash Tahmores means gaining a hell of experience and going on stage free of concern. Other noted names such as Mohammad Hatami and Asghar Hemmat have made the piece richer. We try all to have a different experience.
Is the piece in Qashqaei providing the audience and the group with lots of experiences?
Yes. That is correct. It does not have no text in the beginning and it was off-the-cuff. We did not rehearse even for one day just one to two hours of talks with director and nothing else.
Do you mean there was no rehearsal for “Nil in Nil”?
Yes. I received just some explanations for the ambience. I was frightened. The fear has remained with me from the very first night of performance …. It is like a music performance. The piece is played by heart. The players must move in line with this off-the-cuff piece to create music.
Is the explanation of director different for each actor?
No. It is a general explanation for all.
Was staring in the piece a surprise for the cast?
It is a frightening surprise.
