Cooperation Will Help Grow Tunisia's Emerging Theater
Representative of Tunisia ministry of culture said that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which was signed by director generals of performing arts of West Asian countries, was obligatory and would help develop joint theater activities.
Sami Nasri told irantheater.ir that the MoU was very important, leading to launch of a cultural center on theater. The MoU would get together the West Asian nations to share experiences and knowledge on theater.
The official added that theater was new in Tunisia and did not have a long history but the meeting and cooperation would help the art of theater.
Other Asian countries, Mr Nasri said, can join the meeting too, adding that the next meeting of West Asian countries would put on debate theater in every country and problems facing them.
On the current condition of theater in Tunisia, Mr Nasri said that theater was diverse in that country and was influenced by theater in the west. However Tunisia was interested in cultural exchange and education was of very importance of that country, the official said.
