Spectators Welcome Omid Asadi’s Piece

“Pari Baad” Dedicated to Iran Theater

Omid Asadi, author and director of “Pari Baad”, dedicated his last night performance to Iran Theater as his piece was warmly welcomed by theater-goers.

The piece was performed last night for a sold-out audience including the media persons, irantheater.ir reported.

Among the enthusiasm of the audience, Omid Asadi welcomed them and expressed apology for the inconvenience of the theater venue. “It is a source of happiness for us that the 50-seated auditorium sees 60 audience. But it is also a source of shame that many could not watch our piece tonight due to shortage of seats.”

He explained “Pari Baad” as a completely Iranian work, which was able to satisfy the audience as the piece’s main theme was peace.

On the potentials of the tales of Shahnameh (book of the kings written by Iranian poet, Abolqasem Ferdowsi), Asadi said that the piece was the story of Foroud as warrior, which turns into a victim of love because of his love story for “Pari Baad”.

The director promised that the piece would be performed in a more spacious auditorium next year.

Masoud Foroutan, Farajollah Golsefidi, Nader Mazloumi, Floor Nazari, Ali Borji, Dariush Salimi and Golshid Bahrami were the guest audience of the last night’s performance.

“Pari Baad” will be performed today and tomorrow at 17 and 21:30 in Manshoure Honar Theater.
