Sharifzadeh: Show in Festival Not Different from Public Performance

Arash Sharifzadeh, a children theater director, gave details on his show “God’s Cookie” in the 23rd Children & Young Adults Theater Festival as well as a play by Davoud Kianian.

The director told the news center of the 23rd Children & Young Adults Theater Festival that he was busy on rehearsing “Confused Little Rooster”, which is written by Davoud Kianian, to make it ready for public performance whenever an auditorium will be given to the troupe.

He added that Mr Kianian was cooperating with the troupe too, irantheater.ir reported.

Mr Sharifzadeh is also working on “Benyamin and Benten” for public performance as well as making “God’s Cookie” ready for the 23rd Children & Young Adults Theater Festival.

On the differences between the festival performance and public one, Mr Sharifzadeh said that there would be no difference except for repairs needed for costumes or sets after several months of public performances.

He congratulated Shahram Karami, the secretary of the festival for organizing an international event, which could be a “difficult task”. Although Hamedan is a proper host for the festival, he said, but it would be better to have stronger international shows in the event.

The 23rd Children & Young Adults Theater Festival will take place in the historic city of Hamedan from December 11 to 17.
