Top Works of Provincial Theater Festivals to Meet
Atabak Naderi, director of Dramatic Arts Center for provincial affairs, said that a conference of top works of Provincial Theater Festivals will host directors and chairmen of the provincial association of theater in Mashahir Hall of the City Theater in Tehran.
Mr Naderi said that the gathering was aimed at choosing top works to be introduced to Fadjr International Theater Festival and Fadjr provincial festival, irantheater.ir reported.
The gathering would host the award-winning directors of the provincial theater festivals from December 3 to 14, the official said and added that their works would be reviewed by the jury members to be introduced to Fadjr International Theater Festival and Fadjr provincial festival if they had the required qualifications.
He stressed that chairmen of the provincial association of theater would attend the conference to create an interactive atmosphere.
On the side programs, Mr Naderi said that some stands would be mounted in the lobby of the main auditorium of the City Theater for the chairman of theater association of each province to be able to introduce the potentials of its province.
“We (Dramatic Arts Center) aims to support theater in each province by holding the conference,” he stressed, adding that specialized workshops would be held in which instructors from Portugal and Spain to deliver speeches.
He explained that each province would have one or two top works to be selected to perform either in Fadjr International Theater Festival in Tehran or provincial Fadjr theater festival, which would be hosted by seven provinces.
