Pickup, Third Actor

It has been a long time that I have not seen such a smooth and attractive show! I was moving from one auditorium to another one to find a piece to attract me but alas…There may be good pieces on Tehran theatres but I have not seen one. But I went to see “Good, Bad, Ugly”, which is directed by Shaghayegh Fathi and starred by Saeed Dowlari and Abolfazl Hajialikhani, on a freezing cold night of autumn.

I supposed to see a typical piece but I went to watch the piece for the sake of my friend Saeed Dowlati. But I noticed it was a good piece when it had begun.

The first thing that gets the attention is the smooth and not exaggerated acting. I can dare to say it is one of the best acts of Saeed Dowlati over the past three years.

Except for the ending, the rhythm of the piece is fast. The play is good too. If I was to write the play, I would have changed the ending.  

But the piece with its satire content and acting is interesting and amazing.

Another good point is its set design. Before watching the show, I had seen its still images. I wanted to know how pickup in the set will be used. It seems pickup is the third actor. Its presence is necessary. It is like a main character. Sometimes actors play inside the pickup.

I suggest seeing the piece and enjoy it.
